What your connection gives away before you type anything. Read at the Cloudflare edge that served this page and from your own browser.
Yours alone: nothing here is stored, logged, or kept once you close the
tab. Everything comes from our own edge or from your browser, with one
exception — finding the address family that did not carry this
request takes one call each to ipv4.icanhazip.com and
ipv6.icanhazip.com, which are run by Cloudflare and
return nothing but the address they saw.
Addresses
Who you are on the network, from the address your own router handed out to the one the rest of the internet answers.
A server only ever sees the address family the connection arrived on, so the other one has to be asked for separately — over a hostname that resolves on that family alone. An empty row means your connection has no route on that family, which is the normal answer for IPv6 on many networks.
Browsers deliberately mask the local address behind an mDNS hostname,
so that row often reads as a random .local name rather
than the address your router handed out. That is the browser working
correctly, not a failure.
Connection
How this page reached you: the route it took, how it was encrypted, and how long it took to arrive.
Location
Where that public address places you. Inferred from the network, not from your device, so it points at your provider rather than at you.
Client
And what your browser volunteers on its own, without anyone at the other end having to ask.
